Police are urging for witnesses to come forward after a driver died when he crashed his car into a tree near Rosehill Roundabout.
Officers were called at around 2.12am to reports of a vehicle in collision with a tree in Bishopsford Road, near to Rose Hill, on September 25.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said the occupant of the car, a 33-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He added: "His next of kin have been informed, formal identification awaits and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
"Enquiries into the circumstances continue, however, at this early stage it's not believe anyone else was in the car or any other vehicles were involved.
"No arrests have been made."
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Met's serious collision investigation unit on 0208 543 5157, quoting CAD 495/25Sep.
