Fans of The Inbetweeners, Gavin and Stacey and Friday Night Dinner may spot some of their favourite cast members in Beckenham tomorrow.
Simon Bird, who played Will in The Inbetweeners, is directing a film at Indian restaurant Chockha on Wednesday (September 12) afternoon.
Stars of the film, called Days of the Bagnold Summer, include Rob Brydon and Tamsin Greig.
The restaurant has been open in Bromley Road for less than three months but the filmmakers saw it as an ideal location to shoot some scenes.
Chockha’s management team said: “We were delighted to be approached and be the location for part of the film.”
It is Bird’s feature film directorial debut and the story is based on a novel by Matthew James Wilkinson about the tensions between a heavy metal loving teenager and his librarian mother.
The star of The Inbetweeners and Friday Night Dinner was also filming in The Shortlands Tavern in Bromley on Saturday (September 9).
