Girl Tricked Into Handing Over Mobile

A teenage girl was duped into handing over her mobile phone to a boy who then ran away with it last Thursday, January 10 at 4.40pm.

The girl and her friend were travelling from Putney to Richmond by bus when they struck up a conversation with two boys.

They all got off the bus outside the Racing Page pub on Duke Street, Richmond, and the boys, 17, thin, one white, one black with very frizzy dark brown hair, ran off with the £125 red and silver phone after offering to input a number into it.

The black youth wore a dark blue baseball cap, a blue Nike jacket with a red stripe on the arm and white trousers. The white youth wore blue trousers, a blue beanie hat, a black top and black trainers. Ring Sergeant Martin Hillery on 020 8247 7048.
