More than 3,300 people visited Queens Gardens in Bromley over three days for an open air cinema.

The Midsummer Movies Event, organised by Your Bromley with support from The Glades,  showed seven films over three days.

Our very own blockbuster The Bromley Boys kicked off proceedings as people camped out on deckchairs to enjoy the big screen.

Frances Forrest, BID manager for Your Bromley, said: "We were delighted that so many people came out to enjoy the event for a second year.

"We raised over a thousand pounds for The Royal British Legion and The Bromley Community Fund which was a great result for our fundraising too."

Craig Higgins, marketing manager for The Glades, added: "We are always delighted to support Your Bromley in these fantastic events, the whole park was lit up with images and sounds from the movies bringing more people than ever into the event and onto the Restaurant Terrace."

A total of £1,200 was raised for charity during the event.
