A signalling problem in New Beckenham is causing a backlog of delays for Southeastern commuters.
Network Rail informed Southeastern about the failure and passengers have been warned to expect delays on trains heading for London.
Southeastern say "train from Hayes towards London may be delayed or altered at short notice".
They urged frustrated commuters to regularly check their live departure tool.

Network Rail is expected to close the line after the morning peak to try and fix the issue.
A statement read: "A fault has been detected with the signalling system (a defective cable) in the New Beckenham area. Network Rail response staff are working to fix the problem as quickly as possible.
"Trains between these stations may be delayed by up to 15 minutes or terminated at Elmers End and restarted at Clock House. Disruption is expected until 08.30."
Wohoo welcome back to the nightmare. It was a relaxing weekend.
