AN investigation is underway following the death of a woman in her 20s in Hanwell.
At this early stage, the death is being treated as unexplained.
Police were called just after midday yesterday (Thursday) to reports of a seriously injured woman in the Uxbridge Road. There is no evidence she was stabbed.

The London Air Ambulance was called but, despite efforts to save the woman, she was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.50.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today, while detectives from Ealing continue their inquiries.
A 28-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.
