An outdoor cinema is coming to Charlton House for the first time and here is what you need to know.

The Extraordinary Travelling Film show, a pop up cinema, is coming to south east London supported by the Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust.

This is the first time an outdoor screening has been held at Charlton House and to kick it all off they will be showing The Greatest Showman and Moana.

What is this pop-up cinema?

The Extraordinary Travelling Film Show is a pop-up cinema run by the Chief Magician, David Coultas, and the Sorcerers Apprentice, Karen Field. They take pride in screening great films in a range of Extraordinary locations.

Previous outdoor summer screenings include a wide range of locations include National Trust and English Heritage properties, beaches (where they showed Jaws of course, at high tide), as well as screenings for various charities and the odd Hen Night.

What will be shown?

With the backdrop of the Tudor mansion you can watch two of this years most popular films.

July 20 - The Greatest Showman - Bring all your friends and sing along.

July 21 - Moana - This is perfect for the whole family.

At both screenings, there will be delicious hot food, freshly made popcorn, and a bar serving alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks.
