A party with live music, food and speeches is being held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the NHS.

The event is to be hosted at the Dugdale Centre in Enfield Town, on Wednesday July 4.

Music will be performed by the Enfield Community Singers and it will be accompanied by speeches from John Wardell.

Chief operating officer of Enfield’s Clinical Commissioning Group, and retired GP Steve Iliffe, Britain’s first Professor of Primary Care will also give a speech.

The programme is to start at 10am, admission is free but this is a ticket only admission event.
