Another knife has been seized by Bromley police after again being called to The Glades Shopping Centre.

Officers were deployed yesterday (June 17) after a "male" was "acting suspiciously" before running off when challenged and discarding a knife.

Bromley MPS said it was another knife off the streets and the person was now in custody.

News Shopper has contacted Bromley MPS for more information.

It is not the first time this year police were called to the shopping centre to deal with an incident involving a knife.

In February seven arrests were made after a teenager was stabbed in the back and side during a fight in The Glades.

Four knives were seized after the fight involving seven teenagers aged between 14 and 17.

The victim, 16, did not suffer life-changing or life-threatening injuries.
