Three people have been injured by an "out of control" dog on a housing estate in Orpington.

A second dog was also hurt during the incident on the Ramsden Estate this afternoon.

One man in his 80s was taken to hospital along with two injured officers.

A Met Police spokesman said their conditions were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police used a Taser to prevent the aggressive dog causing more damage.

The other dog suffered minor injuries.

Bromley MPS urged people to avoid the area in Dyke Drive as trained officers arrived at the scene earlier.

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
