A man reportedly seen carrying a gun in Chislehurst has been arrested.
The 25-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm and remains in custody in a south London police station.
Police officers were initially called to Perry Street at the junction with Foxbury Avenue at 5.20pm on Wednesday, May 30.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Officers including firearms officers attended.
"Temporary road closures were put place whilst enquiries and searches were carried out."

All roads are now reopened and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
