Pupils from a Jewish primary school today celebrated the Royal wedding by flying flags of red, white and blue and wearing face masks.

Sinai Jewish Primary School in Harrow decided to mark the union of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by promoting “British values” ahead of the wedding on May 19.

The schoolchildren were given Union Jack flags and cut outs of the Royal couple-to-be on Friday afternoon, and enjoyed a proper British tea party.

Headmistress Juliette Lipshaw, said, "Promoting and embedding British Values is at the heart of our school's work and we are delighted to be celebrating the Royal wedding with tea parties and celebrations across the school.
“The children have been making flags, jelly and sandwiches. We wish Harry and Meghan a hearty Mazel Tov, congratulations."
