A billionaire business tycoon has reportedly made a multi-million pound bid for a national football stadium.
The Football Association confirmed today it received an £800 million offer to buy Wembley Stadium from a prospective buyer during a board meeting on Thursday.
Mr Khan, the current owner of Fulham FC and the American NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars is reported to have made the offer.
The offer is said to include £500 million for the stadium and £300 million for the Football Association to keep the Club Wembley debenture and hospitality business.
