Police have reissued advice to drivers of keyless cars to store their keys safely after two more cars were stolen in Sidcup on Tuesday night.

The vehicles were taken without keys from Sidcup Hill in Cray Meadows and The Drive in St Marys.

Officers have once again urged drivers of these cars to store their remote devices in a Faraday bag or box, which prevents any signals being boosted by thieves.

Sidcup police also warned drivers about a spate of number plate thefts in the area, with three sets stolen in the last week in the Old Farm Road East car park, Station Road and Hurst Road.

They also advised drivers to use anti-theft screws in their number plates, which make them more difficult to remove from the car.
