A one-off wildflower and bee-friendly plant sale is in St Margarets this Sunday.

The £2 entry (free for children) includes free tours of the Grade II listed Kilmorey mausoleum, refreshments, and a wander around the garden.

All profits go to the Wildlife Trust, a local charity, who will be selling a wide range of wildlife-friendly plants including annuals, biennials, perennials, and herbs.

The Environment Trust said: "Our wild animals and plants have been losing their homes over the years - over half of UK species have declined over the last 50 years - so it's very important we look after them.

"Many of our most beautiful garden plants are attractive to wildlife and any garden, however small, can be turned into a sanctuary for wildlife.

"So please join us at our first Plant Sale for Wildlife at the beautiful and historic Kilmorey Mausoleum garden in St. Margarets."

Visitors can also meet local beekeepers and buy plenty of delicious homemade cakes.

Kilmorey Mausoleum wildlife garden is in 275 St Margaret’s Road, Twickenham.

The first 50 visitors will get a free pack of ‘bee friendly wildflower seeds’.

The Environment Trust is a Twickenham-based charity, who support local nature and heritage conservation projects.
