We have been very lucky recently with the weather but how is it looking for the week.
Monday
It is expected to mostly dry with a little rain over high grounds in the north. There will be some sunny spells in the southeast but rain will arrive from the west later in the evening.
Tuesday to Thursday
Rain will cross many central and southern area and the period will be dominated by a mix of sunshine and showers. Met Office have said it will be breezy and noticeably cooler.
Friday to Sunday
Sunny spells and showers are likely on Friday with some showers being heavy with a risk of hail and thunder. Similar conditions are likely on Saturday.
A Met office forecaster said: “Those fresh and changeable conditions are what we hang onto for the start of next week, we wave goodbye to the heat we have seen in recent days and there will be spells of rain and winds that being said there will still be some sunshine at times."
