A lifesaving defibrillator has been fitted outside East Sheen's Waitrose.
The launch of the first 24 hour access defibrillator in the area was led by actor Peter Bowles on Saturday, April 14.
Waitrose was crucial in making the project possible, by providing the site, installing the machine and supplying some staff to lead CPR training sessions.
Cadets from Barnes Air Cadets also gave CPR demonstrations on dummies.
The defibrillator has been supplied by The Mortlake and East Sheen Society, steered by committee member Peter Hames.
The idea originated from East Sheen Baptist Church.
MESS is overseeing free training for anyone wishing to learn how to administer CPR. (Contact info@mess.org.uk).
