Two big name high street shops including a well-known fashion brand and a major supermarket retailer will go ahead at a popular shopping mall as part of an expansion.
St Anns Shopping Centre, opposite Harrow-on-the- Hill station will be getting a new Lidl shop and expanding the fashion retailer, Primark as part of an on-going redevelopment project at the mall, a spokesperson said.
The Primark store refit will move into the 43,000 square foot former BHS unit and sell a wide range of fashion items for men, women and children, and homeware.
Whereas the new Lidl store, known for selling value for money produce, will be getting its own 14,230 square foot space in the shopping complex.
Centre Manager, Pieter Strombeck, said: “This is a very exciting period for us. Primark has been a key part of our fashion offering here at St Anns for a number of years, and we’re thrilled that the company has chosen to increase its presence at the centre.”
A spokesperson for the centre said that exact dates for the new shops were yet to be confirmed, but that it would all go ahead over the ‘coming months’.
