Residents at a care home will put pen to paper and write their own verses for a national day of poetry.
The people at Buchanan Court, Sudbury Hill, Harrow, will write their own short poems for World Poetry Day on March 21.
Pupils from Highlands Prepratory School will join them to read their favourite poems aloud.
The poems written will be entered into Care UK’s national poetry competition.
A Buchanan Court spokesperson said: “Poetry is a great way to express emotions and memories. We hope the community will join us in sharing and creating their favourite poems with loved ones.”
