Bikers have appealed for information after their friend was injured in a crash.

Leone Vance was clipped by another motorcyclist in Blackheath just after 7.30pm on Tuesday night (March 13).

The other motorcyclist drove away from the scene.

He suffered several injuries including a broken finger, and is awaiting surgery.

Mr Vance, from Bow, was biking with a group of friends at the time of the crash.

A friend of Mr Vance, who aided him after he was knocked off his bike, said: “We regularly visit Blackheath and the surrounding areas.

“South-east London has what I consider the friendliest and most supportive biker community.”

The woman, who does not want to be named, has asked for anyone who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.

She also hopes anyone else who may have witnessed the collision will make contact. Anyone with footage or other information should email rileyvince89@gmail.com.

A London Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called at 7:39pm yesterday (13 March) to Duke Humphrey Road, SE3, to reports of a road traffic collision.

"We sent an ambulance crew to the scene. We treated a person and took them to hospital."

The Met Police has been contacted for comment.
