WEIGHT Watcher Louise Frewin, from Uxbridge, was awarded gold membership of the group after learning to love herself again when all she used to was hate the way she felt and looked.

Louise said: “I joined in May 2016 with a target in mind to achieve by Christmas and was thrilled I reached it, so I decided to break my weight loss down further with my next target.

“I’m shocked as, after nine months from starting, I had lost five stone, My thoughts were ‘I’ve got this, I’ve got control over the one thing that was destroying my life and my health, which is the love of food, the comfort eating of chocolate, crisps and cakes’.

“I finally got to my goal of 9st 6.5lb in September 2017 and I’ve never felt better. Weight watchers has changed my life and taught me a way to love food and to love myself.

“When I first joined [the Langley group], I weighed 16st 8.5lbs In that time, I have learned healthy eating habits while still enjoying my food. My coach has taught me how to shift my mindset, helping me to become successful with my new healthy lifestyle.”

Gold membership is awarded to members once they have achieved their goal weight. As well as receiving a certificate, they can attend meetings free of charge and as often as they like, if they stay within five pounds of their target weight.
