Police are warning business owners after spate of robberies at shops in Sutton.
Sutton Police has asked people to be mindful and take the ‘proper precautions’ following three incidents on February 8, 14, and 15.
The latest incident took place at a convenience store in Demesne Road in Wallington at around 10.20am on February 15 where £200-worth of cash and cigarettes were taken.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Police believe there were four males who arrived in a vehicle, two of the males left the vehicle and entered the story to carry out the robbery before returning to the vehicle and driving away."
A day earlier, at around 8pm on Valentine's Day, approximately £200 was taken from another convenience store in Gander Green Lane.
Police believe two men fled on foot down Shorts Road.
And on another convenience store in Collingwood Road was robbed at around 6pm on February 8.
This time around £40 in cash was taken from the till.
Police believe there was one male who fled on foot towards Robin Hood Lane.
