December is supposed to be a time of giving.

Presents are being bought and decorations being hung.

But it wasn't all good news as more than 2000 burglaries were reported in Croydon, just for the month of December.

Now the worst parts of Croydon for burglaries have been revealed.

The latest figures recorded by the Metropolitan Police show that 250 burglaries were reported in Croydon for the month of December.

The statistics are broken down into 14 categories, ranging from shoplifting, to possession of weapons, to drugs.

For the 27 different policing boroughs there is a clear difference when it comes to burglaries

Waddon had the most crimes with 20, while Heathfield saw the fewest with just 2.

But in terms of percentage it it looked a lot different

Burglaries in Sanderstead accounted for 20.7% of its total reported crimes, ranking at the top of the list.
