A PAIR of bonded dogs at Dogs Trust West London in Harefield, called Sooty and Sweep, have found their forever home in time for Valentine’s Day.
The girls came in as an inseparable couple after leading a sheltered life and dealing with a bit of a ‘ruff’ start when they arrived at the centre just before Christmas.
The centre knew they would have to be re-homed together. Thankfully for them, love has conquered all just in time for Valentine’s Day as the cheeky pair will be heading off with the Dolphin family from Hayes.
Julie Dolphin said: “It was absolutely love at first sight. The two of them are bursting with mischief and character and we cannot wait to welcome them into our home.
“We came to Dogs Trust looking for a new dog and were lucky enough to find double the love from our TWO four-legged additions!”
Sadly not all of the dogs that must be re-homed as a pair have been as fortunate this February 14 and are still looking for love.

Re-homing centre manager Richard Moore said: “We’re delighted Sooty and Sweep have found love in time for Valentine ’s Day – I’m sure they will be so happy in their new home.
“However there are still a number of dogs that must be re-homed as a couple that have not yet found their happy-ever-after.
“We always ensure that bonded pairs are not separated. We kennel them together, walk them together and maintain the closeness of the relationship they have during their time here.”
Bonded pairs looking for homes at the centre include chihuahua sisters Bev and Beryl and lurcher Flo with Jet the patterdale.
