A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Windmill Road in Mitcham and detectives are appealing for witnesses.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 10.56am to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle at Windmill Road.
Police officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
The rider of the motorcycle - a man believed to be in his 30s - was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.29am.
Police said enquiries are underway to confirm the man’s identity and contact next of kin with a post-mortem examination to be arranged in due course.
Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances of the collision, according to police.
