MICHAEL Sobell Hospice in Northwood has been chosen to receive a grant of £15,000 from the Masonic Charitable Foundation.
It was one of three charities to receive an award in the Middlesex area.
John Briggs, of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Middlesex, visited the hospice to present the cheque and had a tour as well as being introduced to staff and the fund-raising team.

One of the hospice patients could even walk his dog again after using it!

Michael Sobell has been providing specialist palliative care for local people and their families for more than 40 years.
