STOCKLEY Park is launching a Winter Extravaganza for employees and the public, set within the 150-acre landscaped site.

The Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr Carol Melvin, will start the festivities with the Christmas lights switch-on at 6pm on December 6.

The hub of the festival will be at The Squareabout, with a floodlit synthetic ice rink, complete with snow machine creating a snowy scene.

The rink is large enough to hold 25 skaters at a time, and there is a disabled skater chair available, as well as penguin ice aids for small children. The rink will be open from noon-8pm, December 6-12.
