A creative collective is kicking off the Christmas season with its annual market.

Muswell Hill Creatives is returning for its sixth market in St James's Square, Muswell Hill, on November 25.

The market has been expanded this year to included new stallholders from Muswell hill and the surrounding areas, and will include gifts and items from ceramics, textiles, homewares and jewellery.

The collective was founded by Rachael Booth-Clibborn in October 2014, where they held an open house event and have since been going from strength to strength, introducing the markets in November 2015.

She said: "We introduced the markets to enable a wider audience to have access to the work of all the talented artists, designers and makers based in the area.

"Our markets are carefully curated to bring the Muswell Hill community the best of local art and design.

"We have always seen so much appreciation and support for local independent designers and makers and hope that our market will present the perfect opportunity for our visitors to kick off their Christmas shopping in earnest."

Other markets which will have members of the collective exhibiting will take place in Primrose Hill, Crouch End and Queen's Park over November and December.

The market in St James's Square, Muswell Hill, takes place from 10.30am until 4pm on November 25.
