A singer songwriter from Sidcup is about to set out on an autumn tour to celebrate her second album.

Lucy May is an independent and self funded singer influenced by motown and country music.

She released her debut album Whirlwind last year, and said: "It was pretty surreal seeing my album on the recommended shelf, the day it was released I was on my lunch break at work when I went in and literally had butterflies in my stomach and my eyes were full of tears. I was so proud."

Tipped by Sirt Terry Wogan to be the next big thing, her first single was play-listed on BBC Radio 2.

The singer is will be touring the UK from November 5 to 10, playing in Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and before finishing with a show at The Islington in London.
