A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the back along a road which has seen a number of recent crime incidents.

He was injured outside Salma’s Beauty Salon in Northolt Road, South Harrow, on October 22.

Police and ambulance services attended the scene, cordoning it off to the public for much of the evening.

A spokesperson for the Met confirmed that the victim had suffered a cut to his back but that his injuries were neither life-threatening nor changing.

They added that he was later discharged from hospital, that he chose not to speak to the police about the incident, and that no arrests were made.

It comes days after a 53-year-old man was taken to hospital with a head injury after suffering an assault in Northolt Road.

Residents have expressed their concerns about the rising number of violent incidents in South Harrow and called on authorities to reverse the worrying trend.
