A man has died after a fire broke out in a house this morning.
The first floor of the property in Clarendon Road, Edmonton was damaged in the fire which started shortly before 11.20am today, Monday October 16.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fire was under control by 12.10pm after being tackled by crews from Edmonton, Hornsey and Stoke Newington fire stations.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
