The restaurant had some shining reviews.

Tom W gave the restaurant five stars and said: "It's an authentic, family run business which has a real charm to it. Fine, the decor is a bit out of date but that's part of the charm. The food is brilliant, authentic with quality ingredients. You're not made to feel rushed."

CarolJones1973 said: "I can not rate this restaurant highly enough.

"The food is quite possibly the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy.

"It is also amazing value, especially if you get to the premises in time for their two course specials.

"The owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. It is an absolute delight to eat there."
