Police have issued a renewed appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash in Sydenham
The crash occured at around 12.30am on September 23 on Mayow Road, near its junction with De Frene Road.
Police were called to reports of a car hitting a pedestrian and when officers arrived at the scene they found a 44-year-old man suffering from head injuries.
He was taken to a south London hospital where he died later that evening.
Next of kin have been informed but formal identification has yet to be made.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
The male driver of the car, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, stopped at the scene. He was not arrested.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford are investigating.
