A man arrested on suspicion of pushing a woman into the path of an oncoming bus on Putney Bridge has been released without charge.
The 49-year-old was arrested at a house in Aberdeen, Scotland, on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on Thursday, October 12, but released the same day.
On August 8, a video of a male jogger appearing to push a woman into the path of an oncoming bus went viral after a police appeal, sparking a national manhunt for the culprit.
In the video, the fast reacting driver manages to narrowly avoid the 33-year-old victim’s head after she falls to the ground.
The jogger continues on his route without looking back only to be seen on the other side of the road 15 minutes later, still jogging.
The victim said she called out to him but was ignored.
The incident happened at about 7.40am on May 5.
Three people have so far been arrested in connection with the assault, but all have been released with no further action.
