A hotel company is looking to expand its portfolio in north-west London as it prepares to open a number of new buildings in the region.

Travelodge, which has more than 500 hotels across the UK, is set to open a 102-bedroom facility in Harrow later this year.

This hotel, situated on the corner of Greenhill Way and Station Road, will boast the latest ‘Travelodgical’ features and a number of upgrade options.

Bryn Taylor, Travelodge regional director for the Southeast, explained how it is looking to expand further in the area, with sites in Edgware and Pinner among those put forward.

He said: “North London is a key growth area for Travelodge, as there is a big shortage of branded hotels and customers are crying out for more good quality and low-cost places to stay at across the region.

“Therefore to meet this growing demand we are actively looking for new hotel sites across North London.

“This investment will also create great career opportunities within the community and boost the local economy, as our research shows Travelodge customers will annually spend around £2m with local businesses during their stay.”
