A director is looking for "ordinary, everyday folk" from Croydon to feature in his upcoming documentary.

'D-Junction', will all be shot in and around Croydon with the film to focus on depression and mental illness.

Victor Acho is excited to get "real people" on the screen.

"We won't use any professional actors," he said.

"It will save a lot of lives and it will ultimately save hundreds of millions for the over-burdened NHS. 'D-Junction' is a revolutionary approach to the whole issue of mental illness. It is testimonial-led and is hugely resistant to well-known stereotypes. When made, it will turn out to be a game changer because it is designed to be an intervention mechanism that helps people on the brink of depression or mental illness."

Those who are interested in playing a role in the documentary can register by sending an email to info@boomboomtelevision.tv
