A charismatic miniature Shetland pony has taken up residence in Wimbledon Village.

Mr Fudge is being offered for walks with children on Wimbledon Common.

The new mascot for Wimbledon Village Stables stands at just 33 inches tall and enjoys taking strolls with new friends.

It’s hoped hope Mr Fudge will help out at charity events - he even has his own stickers for donors.

The stables said: “He loves to be admired and stroked gently, so do come and pay him a visit the next time you’re in Wimbledon Village.”

The stout pony can’t be fed any treats and members must complete the Fudge Friend Test before he can join them on walks.
