A man has been arrested following a three car collision in the early hours of Monday morning.

The collision between a Nissan Navara, Audi TT Quattro and a Mercedes took place at 12.57am on Campbell Road, Croydon this morning and saw one person taken to hospital.

One man was arrested on suspension of drink driving and possession of cannabis. It was not clear which car he was driving at the time of the crash.

James Andrew was cycling to work when he heard a "loud bang" just as he was turning into Campbell Road.

"I went down the road as normal and came across the crash, I didn't know what had happened but looked like they hit as some force as they smacked back into other parked cars."

London Ambulance Service attended and a police spokesperson said there were no serious injuries, despite a person being taken to hospital.
