The body of a cat was found in West Wickham last Saturday and the so-called Croydon cat killer is the prime suspect.
Bromley MPS called out the South Norwood Animal Rescue Liberty group (SNARL) to the Manor Road area after the body of a black cat was found.
SNARL said that the injuries sustained by the cat were consistent with an attack by the cat killer.
Bromley MPS tweeted an appeal yesterday asking members of the public to keep a look out.
The police released a description of a person thought to be the cat killer last week.
The person was described as a white male in his forties with possible acne scarring on his face.
