A charity in Sutton is hosting a Digital Tea Party next month for elderly people to better understand how technology works.

Age UK Sutton will hold the event at St. Bede’s Conference Centre, St. Raphael’s Hospice on London Road in North Cheam on September 12 from 10am to 1pm.

A statement read: “You'll learn how to use different devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones. Be confident and know what to do when things go wrong.

“See how being online can make your life easier by using the internet to manage your health, home, finances and more.

“You'll also learn how to maintain your privacy and protection, keeping your information safe online. Take your time and learn at your own pace with our guided workshops.”

Admission will be £5 which includes refreshments. Payment can be made on the door or you can reserve tickets here http://www.ageuk.org.uk/sutton/activities-events/digital-tea-party/reserve-tickets/
