A man has been charged by detectives investigating the murder of a man in Eltham.

Nicholas Foye, 38, was charged on Tuesday, August 15, with murder.

it follows the stabbing of a 49-year-old man in Well Hall Parade on August 11.

The victim died in hospital on Monday (August 14).

Foye, of Barmeston Road, Catford, has been remanded in custody to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court today, August 16.

The victim has not yet been identified and a post-mortem examination has not yet taken place.

Foye was tasered during the initial police callout. He was taken to hospital for treatment, including for a foot injury.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating, and continue to appeal for information.

Detectives are still attempting to trace a woman, thought to have “vital evidence” which could assist the investigation.
