A man from Raynes Park has appeared in court after he is alleged to have visited the same address in Wimbledon on three different occasions to steal expensive road bikes worth an just under £8,000.
Reece Blake, 23, is charged with helping with the theft and disposal of the first, a green Isla Beinn bike for children, on June 5. Blake, of Melbury Gardens, is then alleged to have returned on June 6 and stolen a Cervelo 'aero road' S5, worth £3,800, a Cervelo P3, used for triathlons and time trials, worth £1200, and another bike of an unknown brand, worth £1,600.
He is also charged with returning to the same property near Wimbledon town centre on August 5 and stealing a Scott Scale mountain bike, worth £900.
Blake has been remanded into custody and will next appear in court on September 6.
