Rats have been causing havoc with internet connections in Wandsworth overnight.
Sky said this morning that engineers worked through the night to restore service in areas across south London including Balham, South Clapham and Battersea.

The issue was first reported late last night.
Sky customers should now have internet connection after engineers repaired the cables damaged by rats but TalkTalk says its customers in Balham, Battersea, Streatham, Tooting and Vauxhall have been left without service, due to the “damaged Virgin Media cabling in the local vicinity”.
@SkyHelpTeam Sky broadband down since 9.30pm yesterday. I want to cry.

Its engineers have identified the damaged sections of the cabling and are working to replace them, TalkTalk says.
Update: The issue with TalkTalk internet has now been resolved.
