Need to walk your dog, get some solid exercise and meet some friends? Then the fitness class for you has arrived in Wandsworth.

Power Paws Fitness is a group class you can bring your dog along to, while getting an intense interval workout and having lots of fun.

Organiser Klara said: "We designed the fitness class to get your workout and dog walk done at the same time while having fun and making new friends.

"Our High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) sessions allow your dog to join in on the action.

"Sometimes the dogs just want to play with each other which still makes them exhausted by the end of class.

"Either way you and your dog will have had a great workout and you can go home tired and feeling fit.

"Our classes are currently run by Amber, who is a YMCA qualified Personal Trainer from Los Angeles.

"She lives locally and will bring along her friendly 7-month-old labrador."

The fitness classes, which are one hour long and £10 per person, are initially being offered on Wandsworth Common, but Klara is hoping to expand to Battersea Park and Tooting Bec Common.

The classes are tailored to all levels so anyone can join.

People taking part usually meet on the Common where the ice cream van parks across from the main park.

Provided by the Power Paws Team: doggy water bowl, dog treats, bands for arms strength training and mats for ground work.
