A pensioner has been left fighting for his life after being involved in a late night hit-and-run.
The incident happened in Gladstone Way, Harrow near the junction with Palmerston Road, at around 11.45pm on Saturday, August 5.
The pedestrian – a man in his 60s - was taken by London Ambulance Service to hospital, where his condition is critical.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
The vehicle is described as a dark coloured hatchback, but there are no further details at this time. .
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton are investigating.
