Police in Bromley responded to an unusual call after they were asked to help catch an escaped goat.
Officers were called at about 4.50pm on July 23 when a runaway animal was spotted wandering around St Mary Cray
Bromley MPS wrote on Twitter: "Officers are responding to reports of a goat walking down the road. I've asked them to get a selfie with it if they find it."
"He didn't want a selfie, but with help from helpful Orpington residents we have found and returned the goat to his field"
A spokesman for Bromley Police said: "We were called at about 4.30pm to reports of a goat roaming the streets of St Mary Cray.
"We were initially called to the Landway where there was no trace of the animal but later called to Chalk Pit Avenue.
"The goat was located and detained with the assistance of members of the public. He was returned to a nearby field and the landowner was made aware."
