Seventeen people have been charged following south London’s mass drug raids last week.

Twenty were arrested on Thursday, July 13, when a seven-month police operation came together as more than 300 officers raided 20 homes at dawn across Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth.

The raids, which focused on the Surrey Lane and Doddington Estates, sought out those who supply drugs and target the vulnerable such as recruiting young people to carry weapons and drugs.

The charges handed down at Wimbledon Magistrates Court on Friday, July 14, concerned drug supply, possession, possession of a knife, and driving while disqualified.

The charges

Cameron Crawford, 18, of Surrey Lane, Battersea, was charged with four counts of the supply of Class A drugs and four counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Jonathan Markland, 18, of Worsopp Drive, Clapham, was charged with eight counts of the supply of Class A drugs, two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, two counts of driving while disqualified and two counts of driving with no insurance.

Shane Campbell, 29, of Surrey Lane, Battersea, was charged with two counts of the supply of Class B drugs, three counts of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Shane King, 18, of Knightly Walk, Wandsworth, was charged with 17 counts of the supply of Class A drugs and two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Shuayb Abdi-Ismail, 19, of Fawcett Close, Battersea, was charged with two counts of the supply of Class A drugs. 

Daniel Rochford, 31, of Surrey Lane, Battersea, was charged with six counts of the supply of class B drugs and three counts of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs.

Jamie Flowers, 23, of Surrey Lane, Battersea, was charged with one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. 

Leah Phealan, 22, of Penrith Close, Putney, was charged with one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. 

Nathan Flowers, 26, of Surrey Lane, Battersea, was charged with one count of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. 

A 16-year-old male was with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs and one count of possession cannabis.

Earl King-Brown, 23, of High Road, Wood Green, charged with four counts of the supply of Class A drugs, one count of possession of a bladed article and one count of possession of cannabis. 

Rohan Baker, 38, of Robin Hood Close, Merton, was charged with six counts of the supply of Class A drugs. 

Kemar Lobban, 34, of Ellisfield Drive, Putney, was charged with nine counts of the supply of Class A drugs. 

A 14-year-old male was charged with four counts of the supply of Class B drugs and 1 count of the possession cannabis.

Muhammad Suleman, 27, of Elmbourne Road, Tooting, was charged with one count of the supply of Class B drugs and one count of the possession of cannabis. 

Tilshiloh Jordan, 21, of Ingrave Street, Battersea, was charged with two counts of the supply of Class A drugs. 

All except the 14 and 16-year-old, who were granted bail, were remanded in custody to appear at Kingston Crown Court at a later date.

A 16-year-old was charged and bailed to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ at a later date.

He was charged with one count of the supply of Class A drugs and two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. 

A 46-year-old woman, who was arrested on suspicion of money laundering, remains under investigation.
