As part of UK Employability Day, Sutton is holding an Employability Fair on Friday (July 14) to support people currently out of work.
The Our Place Mental Health Project, in association with the Department for Work and Pensions and the Opportunity Sutton Team will host the event from 10am – 2pm in Sutton Central Library on St. Nicholas Way.
A statement read: “The focus of which is to showcase the employment support services available to local residents with barriers to work.
“People sometimes, for whatever the reason, struggle to gain paid employment and there are organisations who are there to help them find and sustain jobs with the right support.”
St Georges Mental Health Trust, Maidstone Community Care Housing (MCCH) and other organisations will be in attendance promoting the work they do.
