Would you pay £250,000 a year for a nanny?
Well Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly have and one Croydon kid’s language franchise has celebrated the decision.
Why the praise? Joanna, who runs Kidslingo was delighted to hear the nanny will speak to the royal kids George and Charlotte in Spanish.
Joanna teaches Spanish to children from birth up until age 11 in communities, nurseries and schools, and is a big advocate of learning languages early in life.
“While we don’t all have the money for a nanny, the royals have the right idea when it comes to encouraging their children to learn new languages at a young age,” she said.
“We use language every day in order to communicate, to make sense of the world and to identify with our cultures, so its importance cannot be underestimated.
“When children are exposed to more than one language, they become more aware of linguistic patterns and sentence structures. In turn, this leads to a better understanding of the world and can enable faster language development.”
