A murder victim has been named as 33-year-old Emma Day.
A post-mortem examination was carried out on Friday, May 26, at Greenwich Mortuary where a provisional cause of death was given as a stab wound to the heart.
She was killed in Elyewood Road, West Norwood on Thursday, May 25.
Mark Morris, 39, of Cranbrook Road, Thornton Heath, was charged with Emma’s murder.
He appeared in custody at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 29, then later via video link at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, May 31. He has since been remanded in custody.
A plea and trial preparation hearing has been listed for Wednesday, August 16, and a provisional date for trial has been set for Tuesday, November 21.
